Donald J. Trump’s Inauguration Day is here. Hundreds of thousands of people are congregating in Washington, and millions will watch events unfold on television, online and on mobile devices.


Here’s a tech guide of some things to look for.

■ The Verge has a security to-do list of how to keep your phone and photographs safe at the inauguration, or what it bills as “simple precautions for an unpredictable event.”

■ Vox has laid out myriad ways for people to watch the inauguration. Network television and the cable news channels will be covering the event, and the networks will also live stream the ceremonies. Some news outlets have teamed with YouTube to disseminate the live streams.

■ The White House website is also set to stream the day’s events.
