Parents at Saint Francis High School in California include some of the world’s wealthiest technology investors.
To fund scholarships for less well-off families, they clubbed together and invested in technology stock.
But they never predicted that a $15,000 (£12,000) investment in a start-up called Snapchat would make them $24m (£19.5m), with many more millions to come.
